Heal me as You are the only Healer and there is no cure except that of Yours, it is that which leaves no ailment behind [Al Bukhari with Al-Fath 10/206 and Muslim 4/1721] Other similar wordings It is narrated that A’isha peace and blessings be upon her said that when anyone among them had an illness, the Prophet ﷺ used to rub the area of the pain and recite the following du’a أَذْهِبِ الْبَأْسَ رَبَّ النَّاسِ وَاشْفِ أَنْتَ الشَّافِي لَا شِفَاءَ إِلَّا شِفَاؤُكَ شِفَاءٌ لَا يُغَادِرُ سَقَمَاً Allahumma adhibil ba’sa Rabb an-naas Ishfi antash-shaafii la shifa’aa illa shifa-uka shifa-an la yughadiru saqaman O Allah take away the hardship, O Lord of mankind, give shifa, You are the One who cures, there is no cure except Your shifa, a cure that will not leave any sickness Anas May Allah be pleased with him reported I said to Thabit May Allah had Mercy upon him Should I not perform Ruqyah recite supplication or Quranic Ayat and blow over you, such supplication as was practiced by the Messenger of Allah ﷺ?” He said “Please do so.” Anas May Allah be pleased with him supplicated اللهم رب الناس، مذهب البأس، اشف أنت الشافي، لا شافي إلا أنت، شفاءً لا يغادر سقماً Allahumma Rabban-nasi, mudh-hibal-ba’si, ishfi Antash-Shafi, la shafiya illa Anta, shifa’an la yughadiru saqaman O Allah! the Rubb of mankind!
